SF back
Just wanted to let you know that Scrappy Freebies is back online. Sort of, that is. I have somehow managed to get back to posting freebies at least once a week. I should warn you though that the finds are not as extensive as it was before. I still have no time for that as we all know how time consuming that can be! I am just glad that it is back, and for those who are still into digiscrapping freebies, I suppose it is still worth a visit!
Anyway, it is the weekend, and I have got to get a move on with the chores. I have also got to check out this driveway alarm that might be worth investing in, seeing how vandals, in this day and age, can just come anytime and wreak havoc on your car.

Tossing coin
I am keen to travel during the holidays in December, going on a getaway that’s long been overdue. It is still a toss between New Zealand and the Gold Coast. I’m leaning toward NZ, but since I have not done my research on NZ yet because I truly do not know where to start planning! Ironically, we have a new staff member who’s migrated from NZ to work at our office, and I have not made the most of her presence when she, of all people, would be the best person to ask! LOL.
Anyway, apart from the usual must-see destinations, I should also do my homework on wholesale insurance, especially if we are going to travel overseas. Better to be safe than sorry, is what I always say!

Half done
I am glad winter is already half over. We have managed to survive the cold with just minor illnesses (thank God). Even so, it helps to be medically insured (like Blue Cross Blue Shield NC) because you never really know what to expect.
I reckon I have been able to tolerate the cold so much better this time around. Even having said that I still love the heat over the cold, so our handy heater, as you may have guessed it, is working fulltime during this season. I cannot wait for spring to come, so I can take out the little girl more.

On MC
It is MasterChef finals starting on Sunday, and I am definitely going to miss watching all these people cooking off, inventing all that lovely (well, not all of them) food. I am sure I am not the only one inspired in the kitchen every time they whip up something interesting.
So now that it’s off season, you guys reckon they will get back to being health buffs (and maybe pick up one or two of them top rated weight loss pills)? I really don’t think so, because I am sure they will be as passionate (or probably even more) to cook and experiment with food, after honing their skills and being taught all this new knowledge from the kitchen.
Anyway, even with MC ending soon, I am looking forward to the MC Junior! It would be interesting to see how a bunch of school-aged kids can show off their culinary skills and what sort of food they are able to cook. Can’t wait for that.
