One day at a time
I do not know how often I would need to say it. But you never really know what life throws at you. You can be carefree and/or illness-free one day. It may not hold true the next day.
There are so many major changes in our lives in the past few months, that some of them continue to be quite difficult to comprehend. I, for one, am still in the midst of clarifying some health concerns with the doctors. They continue to be rather vague for all of us, and that brings some degree of uncertainty to our lives, especially to our family. Whoever invented the concept of estate protection must have been in the same or somewhat similar situation as we are now.
We just need to take things one day at a time, and take it from there.

Floriade Season
I can smell spring just around the corner! I am totally over this cold weather, and I cannot wait for my favorite season to finally kick in.
And speaking of spring, Floriade definitely comes into mind!
This year it is all about ‘Imagination.’
Floriade 2010 features more than one million blooms as a backdrop for fantastic entertainment, displays and a whole program celebrating the theme of imagination and runs from Saturday 11 September – Sunday 10 October, 2010.
This event is always a crowd-drawer, so we can expect an influx of tourists during this period. I am sure there are great deals out there (like a Branson vacation package) that they can take advantage of.
Just thinking about it has got me excited again! Time to take out the trusty old camera for a gazillion photo opps!

Break needed
Work has been getting the best of me, I reckon. With this sudden influx of new referrals, it has been quite overwhelming, to be honest. It is nothing new to me but still, I think you can never ever get used to being just overly stressed. It’s been bad because all my anxiousness creeps into my dreams as well, and we all know that is not a good sign. Maybe I need a shift in careers and maybe I need to go back into Uni to do that (like probably enrolling in medical assistant school). Or maybe I just need a break from all the stress. We’ll see.

It’s all in the air.
With considerably low humidity levels here in the capital, you would often wonder if a basement dehumidifier is even necessary. Up in the tropics in Queensland possibly you would. But here, we personally use a humidifier especially when the little girl is down with a cough or cold. It has been rather helpful in assisting her cope with her illness and its various symptoms and therefore much easier on us because if we are lucky, we can get a good night’s sleep in the process.
