Sunday Stealing – Part 1

Time to catch up on Sunday Stealing again. Here’s part one…

1. It’s 2AM and you are not home. You are more than likely:
Hmmm… I am rarely not at home by this time. The only time I could be out that late is when I or a family member is rushed to the Emergency Dept at the hospital. Not nice. :(

2. What’s the last thing you spent more than $100 on?
Ooohh… more like $200 that is! LOL! I bought a very nice formal jacket and dress at Myer.

3. What do your bank checks look like?
They look all fine to me. :)

4. Where did the shirt you are currently wearing come from?
I bought it from Big W, great value for money!

5. Name something that will be on your Christmas wish list:
Tough one! I am quite keen on getting an Iphone. Or maybe a nice camera flash for my DSLR.

6. What color is your toothbrush?
Pink!

7. Name something you collect and tell us about it.
Books. I love books, and have started buying them with my own savings since I was 11.

8. Last restaurant you ate at. Who were you with? How was it?
Streets of Asia with my family. I ate roast pork with rice and had coconut juice for drinks. Yum!

9. Who was the last person you bought a birthday card for?
Our niece, who turned 18 last month.

10. What is your worst bad habit?
Being O-C. I can be overly critical, whether it be with the way I dress, or how I apply make-up. Too time consuming!

11. Name a magazine you subscribe to?
Better homes and gardens.

12. Your favorite pizza toppings?
Cheese, more than anything else. But I also love capsicum, onions, and meat!

13. Whose number were you looking up the last time you used a phone book?
A restaurant we were planning to try out. I can’t seem to remember the name now.

14. Other than family, who is the person that you love most?
Tough Q. Pass.

15. What is the last thing you cooked?
I am boiling mung beans right now. I will be sauteing them in a minute for today’s lunch. Then I will be frying some chicken wings as well, which reminds me to finish this up soon so I can start cooking. As it is the weekend, there are no diet restraints and the best weight loss supplement could be quite handy.

Part two coming up next!

Sick of it

You heard that right. Yes, I am at a point where I am just sick of writing all these reports. I must be typing several reports in a month. And the whole process does become quite tedious.

I just wish we could just do away with the narrative reports and go for the tick-and-flick kind. It’s easier to read and it is more concise. Researching for equipment or assistive devices (such as Moen kitchen faucets with mixer taps and what not’s) as well can be tiring.

I don’t know. I am probably just tired, hence, all these senseless ramblings are bubbling up. I guess the best thing for me to do now is sleep, and hopefully feel refreshed in the morning.

Working both ways

Did I mention how much I am loving Masterchef this season? Well, they’ve modified all their challenges this time and it’s become very unpredictable to the contestants, which makes it all the more interesting for the viewers. I believe the best thing about it is that there are challenges which target very specific skills required as a chef. I mean they don’t only require you to plate up a lovely tasting dish, but they are ensuring that the contestants all have those basic chef skills.

I do love watching cooking shows, maybe because of my frustration of not being able to cook as much. But then again, if I did cook as well as all of them celebrity chefs, then maybe Lipofuze will also be required on the menu! LOL. I guess it works both ways then. :P

Check up due

It’s that time of the year again (at least for me). I haven’t been really feeling all that well lately. I am not sure if it is the stress (and I am just terribly tired and worn out) or something else. When you start consulting the web online for possible diagnoses (such as things like colon cleanse reviews), it plays with your mind so much that it isn’t really helping your situation at all. So I finally decided to book myself an appointment with our family GP to get some peace of mind. I booked in with her last month but the soonest I could see her is next week. Quite a while really, but I suppose the it is worth the wait.
