Checking in
All this travelling sure does take its toll on your body. I reckon it would be the good substitute for the best weight loss pills. At least for me it works. Well, nothing like good old stress to keep my weight down!
And yes I am back from a 2-day trip to the city of churches. I met the employees from our head office and it was a very interesting stay to say the least. It is just too bad that I was unable to go around to see the sites. I mean, can you believe that I have not taken a single photo during my stay there? So unprepared, so unlike me.
But I am so glad to be back. There’s nothing like having my precocious little girl around. When she and her dad picked me up at the airport today, she said, “I am happy today.”

Tripping
In a few more weeks, we are not heading to some Cabo San Lucas rental house, but we are going to the South Coast! I’ve never been there, even if it is just a couple or so hours away. The place is booked, so we just need to show ourselves up. And what better timing as we’ve scheduled it on J’s birthday which falls on a weekend.
Oh and yes, we are visiting Melbourne again during Holy Week, upon invitation by an extended family member. We are also driving down there as well, so it will surely help with the mileage requirements for our car lease. Just thinking about it has got me all excited all over again. I sooo cannot wait!

Dreaming
Applying for jobs can be a real pain in the neck. Yes, I am at that point in my life once again me so it isn’t much fun right now for me. Talk about preparing loads of copies of your CV and credentials, then endless job hunts and preparation for interviews. I find it as such a tedious hit-and-miss process. Besides, looking for a great job is like finding a needle in a haystack. But once you do land that dream job (if ever you really do), all that work will have been worth it. I am just looking forward to that day.

Tidbits on the (not so) little girl
The little girl ain’t so little anymore. She is growing up to be this precocious and conversant human being who never ceases to amaze us with her innocent yet truthful observations of the world. And not just that, we have started to potty train her as well as she starts school next year already. Last year, she really was just not ready yet because she kept crying on the toilet. But when she was finally ready, it was so much easier and she is pretty independent at it as well. I guess when they’re ready, they really are ready. So, no more accidents on the floor, and thank goodness too for floor tiles!
