Ours has been quite relaxed, staying at my folks’ house. In fact, we didn’t go out because it has been raining in the past few days. We just chilled out and watch Manny Pacquiao win against Diaz. Then late this afternoon, J convinced me to change into my shorts and runners and take a brisk walk around the park. Yes, we indulged in an hour-long cardio workout, which was a huge step for both of us. It got our hearts pumping and it honestly felt good to be active once again. Let’s hope it won’t be our first and last session and that we can keep this part of our daily routine. If I get back to my target weight soon, then I don’t think we’d have the need to take Leptovox in this case. *fingers crossed*

Probably a 5. I was never that career-minded. I am happy to have a regular but stable job that pays for my wants and needs.

Back in Oz, we have heavy curtains. We’re planning to get them replaced with blinds so we can enjoy our wonderful view of the hills better. We’re crossing our fingers that we can avail of promotional products when that time comes so we can get a big discount.

We don’t have an alarm clock in our room so we never had to press the snooze button. Erin and I always get to sleep in late. Just one of the perks of a stay-at-home mom.

I am tagging everyone who has not done the memes yet.

We were so disappointed because this was something we could have accomplished before we left for our holidays. The hassle of having to bring the document to the Australian embassy to have a consul witness me signing the document (and providing proof of identity by presenting my passport) and paying a big sum of money just to have it sent ASAP all could have been avoided had it been foreseen by our solicitor while we were still in Oz.

Well, it is no use crying over spilled milk now. Let’s just hope that there’ll be no more hitches and settlement day pushes through as originally planned.

Anyway, I’ve managed to upload all the photos from our trip onto my laptop. I’ll probably get down to posting them maybe in the next few days. In the meantime, I am getting myself a good massage to ease all my aches and pains. Be back soon!

Unfortunately, the pictures will have to wait until I get back to Manila as I did not take my trusty laptop with me on this trip. Tomorrow, we will head to Cebu City where we will meet up with some of my good friends from high school and college. I will most probably update this blog once we are back in Manila on the 19th. I can go on and on about the place, but it’d be better if you personally checked it out to see what I am raving about.

And while we are on the subject of getting away, we are off to the province of Cebu tomorrow morning. It’s J and Erin’s first time to be there, plus we’ll be paying my grandfather a visit. We haven’t seen him in two years and it is just as well that we let her meet his first great-grandchild. i’ll be posting pictures when we get back next week.

In other news, I’ve finally decided to cut our vacation short and go back to Oz with J on the last week of July. Erin has become a handful and I certainly don’t think I can manage alone on the plane with her to tend to. I’ve managed to ring up Qantas yesterday and fortunately, we were not charged a cent for the change in departure date of our return flight. All we need to do is just bring Erin’s ticket to the local Qantas office here in Manila to have it revalidated. Easy as pie. We’ll do that after our Cebu trip.

PS: Pass muna ako sa Litratong Pinoy ngayon. Pasensya na po sa aking mga kasama sa LP at hinde rin ako makakabisita sa mga blog nyo habang ako’y nasa Cebu. Babawi na lang ako sa susunod na Huwebes.

While they’re out there playing a couple of games on their xbox 360, I, on the other hand, have been busy doing the following:

• had a great massage in the comforts of our room
• got the works at the salon (haircut, cellophane, foot spa and eyebrow shaping)
• met up with relatives and old friends

That’s only a few things on the top of my head. And I still got at least 6 more weeks to do more of the pampering stuff. Yes, I am certainly living the life!

I have no particular show in mind. Usually a good old movie or a reality show would make me want to stay up late and watch it.

My daughter Erin. Who else? She’s been like a sponge ever since she turned one, and she’s learned so much through imitation, which is just delightful! She’s also been spewing out jargons nonstop. It’s so funny sometimes when she blurts out her version of names of everyday things. This reminds me to get her more children’s books, especially one that’s personalised so it will help identify her self more and we can stimulate her wonderful little brain even more. I am pretty much sure she will be ecstatic when she sees herself as the main character of the story.

Main Course
Would you be willing to work 4 10-hour days instead of 5 8-hour days in order to save gas?
Yeah, it’d be fine with me. This way I get to have a full day off.

If you were a superhero, what would you call yourself?
Super domesticated goddess. But I have yet to perfect a couple more things. I’m still working on it.
