Time of the year

Oh boy, the little girl is sick again. I am not surprised though as this week has just been a shocker for us, what with the outrageous drops to temperature. In the past few days, we have been having lows of minus 4 or 5, so it is no wonder when we wake up in the morning with cars’ windshields frosted and we see footy fields blanketed with thick frost, almost snow-like.

It is temperatures like these when you just want to stay indoors and keep warm with a hot mug of coffee or tea or hide under your doona. Oh and yes, keeping indoors within the shops too because it is time for the end of financial year clearance sales! What perfect timing to use those shoebuy coupons to make those discounts even less! It’s that most wonderful time of the year….
