Belated greetings

A belated merry Christmas to all of you. As with the rest of the world, we have been caught up in so many activities ever since we arrived in Manila. Sometimes, you only get the very short break to breathe, then off you go again to some other event or location.

A huge part of it all is the shopping! I mean, ask any Filo who’s gone home to the motherland if they did any trips to the shops. The answer would always be a resounding Y-E-S!.

And today being boxing day, is the first day of all those clearance sales. I am sure the use of those POS systems will be maximised, as pretty much every one will be heading to the shops to get a bargain, one way or the other. And yes, it is every man for himself to spot the best bargains out there. So I am wishing all those shoppers the best of luck, because you will surely need it (I included!).
