Just Counting

Yes, we are just counting down the last few weeks of the month before we head off to our lovely motherland. It is during times like these when you cannot really have full concentration at work anymore and all you ever think about are the places you plan to visit and the kinds of food you want to eat, just to name a few. I have been starting to feel a bit lazy as well, lying on our mattresses, wanting to be whisked off into daydream land.

It is not as if I haven’t been home in years. In fact, we were in Manila for 2 months last year! But I guess when you do get to live overseas, you tend to appreciate the tiniest of things that only the Philippines can offer. And I am pretty sure I am not alone on this one. So yeah, I wish there was a fast forward button to speed things up a bit, and a slow-mo button as well for when we do get there so we can enjoy and savor each moment and experience, bit by bit. Sooo cannot wait!
