On Studies

Hooray for the long weekend! I’ve got a 4-day weekend ahead of me as Tuesday is a holiday. Times like these when you get to think about a lot of things, one of them being my career as I have this need to undertake further training or education. It’s like I have this hunger to keep learning and learning more. I guess it is because I have not worked in a while and I feel like I have been left behind in terms of new trends in my field.

However in saying that, I suppose I am not at all envious at how demanding a student’s life can be. At this point I know I cannot give my it my full attention, what with family and all. But I suppose some of my colleagues could benefit from an Organizational development degree. I know of someone who has recently been asked to assume higher supervisory roles in our organisation and I am pretty sure she will benefit from this type of degree, because I do think she fits the job to a tee. Anyway, my time will soon come, and I am certainly looking forward to that.
