Ain’t Over

Well, just as the weather forecast has predicted, I woke up this morning to find both our cars caked in dry mud. The dust has obviously not settled yet, and it’s made an even worse comeback. You don’t usually mind just having plain dust on your car. But when it showers a little and the wind is mightily blowing away (not so ideal weather for Myrtle beach golf, that’s for sure!), you’re sure to get, as I said, caked mud. We went to the car wash at noon, and it took more than the usual $2 wash to get rid of all the dirt. And even as we finished, we found out that it needed more than just a wash, but a good wiping as well because the car was still dirty, although not as much as it originally was. Then just this evening, I heard the rain pour for a few minutes. Let’s hope the wind doesn’t come bearing gifts again in the morning.
