Love the Internet

A couple of weeks ago, someone on Facebook requested that I add them as their friend. It turns out that this guy was an uncle of mine, a cousin of my father. And since that friend confirmation, I have a several similar requests from the same side of the family. You see, we never did have much knowledge of relatives on my father’s side as they were all in Bacolod. It seemed such a distant place to us and we never really did visit us so there wasn’t much of a chance to touch base with any of our relatives there.

Well thank God for the internet, because now we are able to connect with these relatives even if they are based overseas or are cross country moving to some distant place. Now all we need to do is draw up a family tree to see how we are all connected to make better sense of it all.
