Trying Vegan

Earlier this evening, I attended a farewell dinner for one of my workmates at Au Lac, a nice Vegetarian Thai restaurant in Dickson. We were all actually late for that booking as everyone was trying to finish all their paperwork at the office, it being the last day of the workweek, rushing off to close the office and turn on the wireless alarm.

Anyway, the place is bursting in the seams with customers. This workmate of mine is on a Vegan diet and she suggested the restaurant as it was her favorite, and she certainly isn’t alone on that one. But I am not surprised as the food there was very delicious! It was such a lovely food trip experience because I never realised that things like barbecued soy chicken on a skewer (just to name one) could taste that great.

Well, I am definitely going to bring the family there. I’m sure J will enjoy it as much as I did.
