Anecdote
Before I go off looking for new women’s shoes , here’s a little anecdote I’ve been wanting to share for some time now.
I was changing Erin’s nappy at that time but she has this habit of kicking her legs while she’s lying down, which really annoys me because it doesn’t make my job any easier. Unfortunately, her feet hit my chest, and we all know how painful that can be. So I showed her how hurt I was by pretending to cry and saying “Aray!” at the same time to see if she would feel any remorse for her actions.
Surprisingly enough, she did. Erin sits up, then puts on a “concerned” face and says, “Don’t cry! Don’t cry! Sorry Mom!”
I immediately ceased doing my act and gave her a hug and kiss. Then the little girl says, “I love you mom!”
All was forgiven at that instant. Truly a heartwarming moment!

Isn’t it funny when they do that? When I am hurt from anything and would cry or whinge, Jens would cry as well.
