Food for the Gods

I did a little baking after Christmas. I think I’ve fairly gotten down the cheesecake right for some time now and am trying a new dessert to bake. This time it’s Food for the Gods. I got the recipe from Connie of Pinoycook.net and it is pretty easy to make. The first batch was yummy but I kinda burned the sides and bottom a bit. My mom suggested to put the baking dish on a higher shelf next time, which I did follow last night. And this time around, I got it right — golden brown & crispy on the outside but soft and chewy inside. Yum-o! I’ll be bringing them to tonight’s get-together at a friend’s house. I hope they will like it as well. *fingers crossed*

Well, I’m off to check out the Westgate site. In the meantime, I leave you with a snapshot of the goodies.
