Sally Mclellan, Anna Meares, Stephanie Rice, Libby Tricket, Jessicah Schipper, Cate Campbell. The list can go on. So did you notice a trend here?

Yes, they are all female and they all won medals in the Beijing Olympics. It looks like it is the females who are dominating the medal tally for Oz. Heck, if it weren’t for the ladies of swimming, we wouldn’t be one of the top 10 countries in that tally. What ever happened to the men?

It just goes to show you can’t ever underestimate the ladies. Even if we are stuck sometimes with a kid at our hip while we hold on to a Bob stroller, we can perform just as well as the guys. Well, sometimes even better.
