Dining Out

Well, will you look at that? It’s June already! And we are into our second week of our vacation here in Manila. We haven’t been out much, especially since the weather has not been our bestfriend. It’s hot and humid everyday and it doesn’t help as well when it’s almost that time of the month and progesterone levels are going haywire. We just went to a few restos to eat dinner and lunch with both families on separate occasions.

We ate first at KKK located in the Mall of Asia. We went with J’s family. Food was good, though servings were a bit small for the price that you had to pay. Of note, their inihaw na liempo (bacon style) was great.

Next, my family went to Serendra at The Fort to have dinner at Zao Vietnamese bistro. We ate there last Friday and was lucky enough to get a good table inspite of the start of the weekend madness. We were supposed to have dinner at Chelsea but did not regret ending up at Zao as the food was delicious! Of special mention was their Meatball Pho, Pomelo Salad, Satay Platter, Barbeque Platter and Shaken Beef. I would definitely recommend this resto anytime!
