Changes

It’s been a year and a half since our last visit to Manila. It is not that long but so much has already changed. Well, for starters, my twin sisters (our youngest) are incoming senior nursing students. My younger brother just graduated from college and is now working. There is a skywalk now on the Bicutan Interchange (finally!), which has helped improve traffic in that pretty busy intersection. And a couple of gadgets like surround speakers and videoke microphone are recent acquisitions in my mom’s home. All’s that missing are home theater furniture to complete the package. These are just a few of them. I’m sure there are lots more out there.

Our next visit home may be in a couple years or more yet, much longer than it is now. So I wonder what changes are going to take place next. I’ll bet quite a handful, which makes it something worth more looking forward to.
