Appetizer
What is your middle name? Would you change any of your names if you could? If so, what would you like to be called?
My middle name here in Oz is Mae. But in the Philippines, my middle name would have to be my maiden name, which is Decena. I’ve used ‘Mae’ countless of times because it’s short and easy for other people to recall. I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Soup
If you were a fashion designer, which fabrics, colors, and styles would you probably use the most?
This is tough because I generally go for the classics. I am not very much familiar with the names of certain fabrics, but I love to use soft and airy fabrics for those flowing types of dresses. It’s summer here so I’d probably go with a halter neckline with a flowing skirt. I love the color of the sea so the dresses will be in different shades of blue and green.

Salad
What is your least favorite chore, and why?
Cleaning the bathroom and toilet. In this household, that chore belongs to J. I honestly don’t like getting down on my knees to scrub the tiles and the toilet bowl. My second least would have to be wiping the dust of tables and other furnitures from directbuy. I have rhinitis so the dust will keep me sneezing the entire day. I’d rather iron clothes, wash the dishes or do the laundry.

Main Course
What is something that really frightens you, and can you trace it back to an event in your life?
I am afraid of drowning. I guess it all began when I accidentally fell into a swimming pool when I was 5 years old. I did not know how to swim yet so I was really panicking. Thankfully, someone saved me. Also, my grandparents died in a sea tragedy 10 years ago. Since then, I have always preferred taking a plane ride over a boat trip.

I am sitting in our computer/study room. Directly in front of me is our portable evaporative cooler, my mobile phone and a pen to jot things down with.
