Milestone for Erin

Last night, while J and I were busy organizing my documents for my permanent residency application, the little girl reached a milestone all on her own.

She was first doing this.

Then slowly, but surely, she was able to move to this position.

She has been practicing on our bed for some time now but couldn’t really get to standing on her own (probably because she had nothing to hold on to). When she was left in her portacot last night, I saw, from the corner of my eye, her determination to really try and stand up. Once she got it right, she tried several more times after that until she got tired.

We are sooo proud of her!!! It’s a good thing we were to get the whole thing on video.
