Whenever I am stumped for gift ideas, I usually end up buying something ordinary then just have it personalized at some specialty store. One cool way to do this which I recently discovered is to order Novelty and Funny Number Plates, especially if you know people who are car enthusiasts. I think that is the perfect present to give to them on the holidays because they are truly unique.

You can even do it yourself online. You can design the plate according to the recipient’s personality as there are loads of styles to choose from. I checked it out myself and had so much fun designing one for Erin. It is pretty easy to use too. Here’s what I came up with (click on the images to enlarge) if I were to give Erin one (as if she has a car! LOL). Really cute, don’t you think? :)

 

I made two designs and preferred Pooh among the rest because he is something that she is very familiar with. Plus I thought he was the cutest of all the characters they had on the site.
