What was your first “real” job?
My first real job was a summer job my brother R and I had back in the early 90’s. We worked in our mom’s repacking business doing admin stuff and also doing quality control work. We also stickered some labels. We were paid piece rate. I think I managed to earn Php 3,000 net. :)

Soup
Where would you go if you wanted to spark your creativity?
I usually read up on current events or surf the net. Sometimes just having time alone jumpstarts the thinking process.

Salad
Complete this sentence: I am embarrassed when…
… my mom recalls stupid things I did when I was younger. I’d hate it especially if she told other people about it when I’m around. :(

Main Course
What values did your parents instill in you?
Respect authority or your elders and to always have some pride in yourself. Never be a doormat to anyone.

Dessert
Name 3 fads from your teenage years.
1) Remember Aquanet? Yup, I had made mountains out of molehills of my bangs. :P
2) Hgh-cut rubber shoes. Brands like Reebok and L.A. Gear were very famous for it.
3) Slumbooks or autograph books. Everyone in my class seemed to have one. It got passed around so everyone got to sign it.

Do you think you’d be embarrassed if you realized that your mom had a blog and talked about you all of the time, how about if she posted a picture of you pooping in the bathtub! *LOL* Yup, my kids are so gonna hate me!

Happy Friday!

those are great values to have!! I love your feast this week.

same dessert! Aquanet! Yeah, it was the most popular brand!

oh yes slumbooks ..i remember those…great feasting with you

I remember Aquanet…I was a little young for it, but I remember my friend’s older sisters…oye, such big hair!

I’m stuck with my dessert this week… but now that I’ve read yours… yeaah… slumbooks! I had something like that too! — And awesome values!

great feast! i can relate to your dessert! :)

Love your main course. Those are great values to instill.

yes, I remember Aquanet!

Yea. don’t we all have the same feelings, like you inthe salad.
But listen to how she sounds and see how she looks.
It’s her love for you that makes her do so.

Laane’s feast

Mums can be so embarrassing with their tales of the past! You have a great list there - have a lovely weekend!

Great feast!! Aquanet…. those were the days LOL

We didn’t call them slumbooks. We called them slambooks, but same general idea.

Hehe … I had aqua net in my dessert too! Big hair rules! ;) Happy Friday!!!

Why do parent’s do that? I think it must be a universal thing. Ah.. Aquanet, I remember that in middle school, spraying on much more then what was needed and it reeked! Have a nice weekend.

I can so relate to your salad…it was bad when mom told those things to strangers, but now she has regalled my children with the tales too…now that is embarrassing!
Great feast….I remember autograph books.

Happy Friday.
You made a great point with your salad. I try not to do that to my 22 year old. :)

You are right, no one should ever be a doormat.

Have a nice weekend.

Ditto with toni… I grew up in that era…lol. and own several slumbooks. Happy weekend! Mine is up as well.

Great Feast!
Mine is up too!
Have a fabulous weekend!

Ah, your dessert reminds me of middle school! Except for the L.A. Gears, I finally got a pair of those right before freshman year & moved to a school where they were not cool.
